Tanses tanning equipment are considered competitive in cost-effectiveness, among the many tanning bed systems and implements out in the market today. However, just because they are relatively more affordable than the rest, that doesn't mean they are inferior, or that they should be treated haphazardly.

Just like any other piece of tanning gear, Tanses tanning equipment can give you the tan you need in exactly the time you can spare to get it - as long as you keep all the equipment in top shape. Tanning beds and implements are an investment: they need to be taken care of properly, so that you are able to get the most out of them.

Here are some things you could do to make sure your Tanses gear stays in top form:

1. Clamshell type beds. Many tanning implement manufacturers make clam shell type of beds for home or salon use. These are also called "capsule type" beds, and are perhaps the most popular tanning implements around. Using these beds, you can get a tan while fully at rest, even listening to your favorite music. You only need to turn over when you're ready to tan the back of your body. It offers what is virtually an effortless way to get a full-body tan!

Clamshell type beds must be cleaned regularly, however. The mattress, pillows and acrylics are not the only thing you must clean - you must also make sure the exhaust filters are clear.

2. Vertical cabins. Some people prefer to be standing up when tanning. This way, they may move around more freely - especially useful in case they want to concentrate the tan on certain areas of their bodies only. Like their horizontal counterparts, the clamshell beds, vertical cabins must also be cleaned and checked regularly.

3. Standalone facial tanners. Some dermatological clinics have standalone facial tanners for medical purposes. These portable machines focus the UV light on the facial area. And since the face is a sensitive body part, many of them come with a cooling system that allows the face to stay cool while being tanned. Make sure to keep the fans clean and unobstructed.

For any type of tanning gear, you must of course make sure to replace bulbs when they have reached their life expectancy. The estimated amount of hours a brand-new bulb has should be indicated on its box - be sure to keep track of when a replacement is due. Waiting for the bulbs to grow obviously dim before replacing them may seem practical, but while the bulbs are growing dim, you are also missing out on a good tan! Keep a stock of replacement parts, such as bulbs, ballasts and starters, handy in case of emergencies.

If you take proper care of your Tanses tanning equipment, they can work for you for a long time. You don't need to shell out a lot just to replace them, even with replacement parts that are made by Tanses as well.
